Upcoming Concert

Our concert “Hint of Winter” will be at the National Arts Centre Fourth Stage Friday, November 28, 8pm. The falling leaves will soon be replaced by falling snow, inspiring our program of Yuletide and other traditional songs from Scandinavia, the Scottish Hebrides, Brittany, Ireland and Spain.

We look foward once again to the pleasure of playing with guest musicians Greg T. Brown, fiddle, Duncan Gillis, pipes and bodhran, Bill Locke, bass, and Sheila White, flutes.

We were children of the 60's in kneesocks and clogs, hair flowing in the wind, guitars over our shoulders. We grew up in different parts of the country, unknown to each other, yet linked through the music of our time...

Then the Celtic harp cast its spell first upon one, and then the other, until Time and Serendipity merged this duo...

Each of us has a wealth of songs from different sources, and our recent collaboration as a duo has resulted in the creation of fresh arrangements for harp, guitar and voice, and a first CD, Harmonic Curves.
